Laser Measurement & Machine Alignment
For high accuracy applications or large format CNC Routers, the machines must be aligned after installation using true position data from a laser measurement system in order to deliver accurate, quality parts. Inexact machine geometry, where the machine is not precisely leveled, columns are not perfectly square, rails are not perfectly straight, and surface tables are not flat, can affect production. Even properly aligned machinery can become misaligned over time from thermal effects, vibration, shifting foundations, machine accidents or rebuilding. Periodic alignment is a highly recommended.
